WALKING WORKS NEWS

London Borough of Hackney Steps Forward

Walking Works is delighted to announce that London Borough of Hackney have offered to be the campaign's first pilot employer. Over the next six months we will be working closely with them to develop and promote walking as part of their travel plan.

LB Hackney is one of the largest employers in East London with more than 3,000 employees. On Walk to Work day, the borough is organising a large event in conjunction with St Leonard's Primary Care Trust to promote walking to workers in Hackney. To find out more see their website.
